The Processed variant is factory-coated on all six sides with two coats of high-quality transparent stain, which allows the natural beauty of the wood grain to show through while subtly enhancing durability.

The Unprocessed variant is not coated with any stain.

Each box of individual shingles covers 25 square feet with a 5-inch exposure. A square consists of 4 boxes. Orders must be placed by the box, with a minimum order of 10 boxes. For a 5" exposure, increase the coverage area by 3% to account for cutting losses. For exterior use only.

Chatham - Extra-clear & clear grade. Free of knots on the visible part - up to 6 in.

Bar Harbor - Rustic. Natural. Sound knots visible on the exposed face. It's a perfect complement for knotty siding.

FASTENING REFERENCE LINE

Maibec shingles feature a fastening reference line found 6 1/4" from the shingle's base. For the 5" required shingle exposure, fasten just below the reference line to respect the installation requirement.
