The Simpson Strong-Tie Strong-Drive® SDWS Timber SS Screw is a heavy-duty structural fastener crafted from Type 316 stainless steel, offering exceptional corrosion resistance ideal for coastal and severe environments.
Its 0.275-inch diameter shank and SawTooth® point ensure fast starts without predrilling, simplifying installation in applications such as docks, piers, boardwalks, and ledgers.
The large flat washer head with nibs allows the screw to sit flush with the surface, reducing wood splitting and providing a clean finish. This screw serves as a superior alternative to traditional spikes, lag bolts, and lag screws, delivering enhanced strength and durability for demanding wood-to-wood and engineered-wood connections.
