The WUB is a U-shaped saddle bracket designed to connect wood posts to concrete. This post bracket is intended to be installed while the concrete is still wet. The WUB uses deformed rebar to secure it into concrete.

Installation

• Use all specified fasteners; see General Notes
  
• Install up to the bottom of the saddle while concrete is still wet
  
• Can be post-installed using Simpson Strong-Tie® AT-XP® anchoring adhesive
  
• Post bases do not provide adequate resistance to prevent members from rotating about the base and therefore are not recommended for non-top-supported installations (such as fences or unbraced carports)
