Installation Tips:

1. Pre-Drilling: It's recommended to pre-drill a 3/16" pilot hole through the decking material only (not the joist) to facilitate easier screw insertion and prevent splitting.
2. Screw Installation: Utilize the PVC/Composite Tool fitted with the "DECK" marked driver bit. Drive the screw using a standard drill on high speed until the Auto-Stop™ mechanism indicates the correct depth with a "pop" sound. Avoid using an impact driver, as it may overdrive the screw.
3. Plug Placement: Insert the TruNorth matching plug into the hole and gently tap it with a smooth-faced hammer until it's flush with the deck surface, ensuring a seamless look.
