Installation Guidelines:

1. Preparation: Follow TimberTech® by AZEK® decking manufacturer instructions regarding screw spacing, edge/end distances, and gapping.
2. Pre-Drilling: It's recommended to pre-drill a 3/16″ pilot hole through the decking material only (not the joist) to facilitate screw insertion.
3. Screw Installation: Fit the setting tool with the "DECK" driver bit. Using a standard drill on high speed, drive the screw until the tool's Auto-Stop™ mechanism indicates the correct depth with a "pop" sound. Avoid using an impact driver.
4. Plug Insertion: Place the plug into the hole and tap it with a smooth-faced hammer until it's flush with the deck surface.
